Enhance your toddler’s (5 and under) zoo experience with a 1 hour learning extravaganza. Your toddler will participate in hands on animal encounters or feedings, stories and activities. These programs are designed to be safe and will teach about shapes, sounds, numbers, alphabet, color and more.
ZooTots Program Fee: $3 per person, plus zoo admission. Zoo admission is good all day. Each additional child or adult is $3.
Join local African Safari Expert, Pat Quinn as he recounts a few of the 58 trips he has taken to 7 different African countries. This highly sought after presentation will include images and stories of native wildlife, local culture, and African adventure. There will be a question and answer session immediately following.
Mr. Quinn will be available after the presentation to discuss his upcoming safari and future availabilities.
 THE BIG SCARE: October 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th will feature evening events, rides, and games such as an out of this world U.F.O. maze, a spooky freak show haunted house, and a train ride into the abyss.
HAPPY HAUNTING: October 31st will be a day for the younger ghouls and goblins to trick or treat with the animals, face painting, a variety of fall themed games and lots of trick or treat fun.
Local organizations are invited to sponsor a Trick or Treat Station and pass out candy. Please contact Erin Cantwell, event coordinator, at (850) 932-2229 if your organization would like to participate. There is no fee to sponsor a Trick or Treat Station.

Extended zoo hours every Wednesday and Friday in July and August. Come visit Gulf Breeze Zoo during the cooler evening hours, when the animals are at their most active. Doors will open at their usual time (9am) but won't close until 8pm! Daily admission tickets purchased during regular zoo hours include entrance "after hours." Admission tickets purchased after 5pm will be discounted. Concessions open for dinner.
Kids and parents participate in a themed scavenger hunt in the Gulf Breeze Zoo! Kids search for specific animals and get their Passports stamped when they find the exhibit! Upon completion of the scavenger hunt, kids receive a Certificate of Completion and Sprout Goodie Bag full of stickers, coloring pages, and other fun stuff. BarneyTM, the Purple Dinosaur,
will be on hand to entertain the kids in 3 sing-alongs! Sing-alongs begin at 11am, 1pm and 2pm, and last 20 minutes. Bring a current Mediacom statement and receive a $2 discount for each member of your family. Additional discount if you purchase a Season Pass on 6/26/10. Brought to you by Sprout and Mediacom.

The Gulf Breeze Zoo is excited to re-open the zoo to the public. We have a new name, new animals, and new management. Stroll along the Boardwalk, ride the SAFARI LINE train and see Nile hippos. Camels, llamas, goats, and pigs arrived safely at their new home in the Gulf Breeze Zoo petting zoo. Guest will be able to feed animals from buckets and get slobbered on by the friendly, hungry critters! Visit RATES & HOURS for animal feed information.
